No Future

I feel like we are missing a new all encompasing science fiction definition of the future.

Think back to the80s and90s remember how cyberpunk caused such a huge explosion of creativity culturally. literature, anime, movies, arts.we where all living in tokyo like megacities, plugged into virtual realities, half human half machine.cyberpunks definition of the furure was so powerful that it become universally recognised and accepted as the prevailing definition, like the space rider/explorer 1950s SF definition of the future.

Now twenty years after the golden age of cyberpunk,we seem to be lost amongst rehashes of past definitions,
cyberpunk, postapocalypse, 1950 bright futures, and others, somebody please give us a new science fiction definition of the future,In hungry for a new future.
